Don Drummonds Owner/Master Director Stylist
Beginning his career 35 years ago, Don has become known not only locally but nationally recognized for his talent and passion for the industry. He specializes in cutting and coloring and brings an edge of style to all of his work. Along with
being a stylist, Don enjoys educating and giving the experience and knowledge
he has gained to others. Don is certified in Redken, Roux, Goldwell, and Aveda
Color. He has attended Business, Cutting, and Coloring training from the Aveda
Institute. Along with all the education he has received he has been nationally
recognized in the following competitions:
• 1986 placed in the Top 3 at the Georgia State Competition, Men’s Division;
• 1987 placed in the Top 5 in the National Title Competition, Men’s Division
• 1987 was and Honorary Member of the National Hairdresser Cosmetology
Association, Men’s Division; 1989 member and judge of the World Olympic
Team Men’s Division and won the Bronze medal at the World Olympic
Competition in Vancouver Canada.

Dana Gessner Owner/Master Director Stylist
Dana was born with a talent that has given her the recognition and respect of both stylist and business owners. Dana believes that, “Guest Satisfaction is the key to success.”, and indeed this is what has made American Salon & Spa what it is today. She encourages and supports all of her team with providing weekly education. She is certified in Aveda Color, Cutting and Business, provided by the Aveda Institute. Her eagerness to provide the most cutting edge ideas and techniques brought Dana to being one of the first stylist in the area to be certified in Hair Extensions and EyeLash
Extensions. With the commitment to her team and guests, Dana looks forward to bringing beauty to her community.

Aleta has been with the American Salon & Spa family for over 18 years. Being a local, she has built her business to serve the community and the people in it. Her warm heart and personality gives that extra touch to her services. Being certified in edken
Goldwell and Aveda she has the knowledge and experience to bring the best techniques and ideas to her work.
Fallon Richards Designer Stylist
Joining the American Salon & Spa team in 2008, Fallon has brought her excitement for beauty and the joy of serving her guests,
to make an unforgettable experience. She strives to make every guests walk out of the door with a better attitude and new found
self-esteem. The education she has received from the Aveda Institute has given her and edge on other new talent. She is now
certified in Aveda Color, and is working towards becoming certified in Aveda Face Color, and cutting.
Erin Seeley Designer Stylist
Erin is a Designer Stylist who’s passion for her talent shines through her work. After graduating from Oceanside College of Beauty in California, she moved to Georgia to continue her career as a cosmetologist. She has been educated extensively in cutting and has taken many Advanced Cutting classes. Her education includes: Aveda Product Knowledge, Aveda Color Certification, Aveda Performance Skin Care, Aveda Pure Form, Aveda Get in Shape with William Edge, Aveda Razor Cutting with William Edge, Paul Mitchell product education and cutting classes, Andis Clipper education, Jingles Product Knowledge, and Hair Wars Style Up shows.
Kelsey Bragg Massage Therapist/Esthetician
After graduating Lake Lanier School of Massage in February 2006, Kelsey soon after joined the American Salon & Spa Team. She
specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish and Russian Massage. She has also received continuing education in Aromatherapy
and has attended the Aveda Institute studying Skin Care, and Face Color.
Megan Wojdyla New Talent
Megan joined the American Salon & Spa team in 2006 as an assistant. She has trained under Don and Dana in the pursuit of becoming a licensed cosmetologist. In October 2008 Megan graduated from Lanier Technical College, and became a Licensed
Cosmologist. As a part of her training and education with Don and Dana, she has been certified in Aveda Color. With her new talent,
she looks forward to serving and providing the latest techniques and ideas.
Emily Drummonds Hair Designer
After growing up watching her father and sister follow their dreams in the beauty industry, it became a dream of her own. She
began her career at American Salon & Spa as a Guest Coordinator and Assistant in 2004. After three years she expanded her
knowledge and became an Apprentice under her father Don. Emily has continued her education under the guidance of Don and
Dana, and looks forward to becoming the third generation of stylists at American Salon & Spa. She has continued her education at
the Aveda Institute and is certified in Aveda Color & Aveda Face Color.
Kristie Carlson Assistant
Kristie Carlson joined American Salon & Spa in 2005 as an assistant. She is currently attending Berunau University in pursuit of
a degree in Fashion Design. Her natural talent for design has given her the passion of makeup design. Along with assisting Kristie
is American Salon & Spa’s Makeup Artist. She has been certified in Aveda Face Color by the Aveda Institute. She specializes in Makeup Design for Bridal and Special Occasions.
